Prepare to brave the depths! Mark of the Deep, a pirate-themed Souls-like Metroidvania, launches this January on PC (Steam), PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch. Developed by Mad Mimic and published by Light Up Games, this dark, narrative-driven adventure combines intense combat with classic exploration.

Set on a cursed island, you’ll uncover secrets, battle relentless foes, and reunite your scattered pirate crew. If you’re eager to dive in, a free demo is now live on Steam, giving players an early taste of its challenging gameplay and hand-crafted environments.

“We’re thrilled to bring Mark of the Deep to players worldwide,” says Magnus Lysell, CEO of Light Up Games. “It’s the kind of high-replayability, deeply engaging experience we love to publish.”

Check out the new trailer for a sneak peek into its eerie world, unique enemies, and fast-paced action. Don’t forget to wishlist the game on Steam to stay updated!
